May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I have 2 mosaics that I integrated previously. They look almost identical as everything was the exact same, just shot on different nights. When I got to stack these two fit files though I get the following results.

I've tried stacking them using everything as default, I've tried stacking them using the mosaic option. I've adjusted the scale start and stop, used dynamic distortion correction, unchecked same camera and optics, I've used quads and triangles for the pattern recognition descriptors and various other options. I continue to get strange circle looking results. Is there something that I'm missing, or overlooking?

What's even stranger (to me) is if I add in a 3rd mosaic session it integrates without any issues. When I don't include that session, I get the strange results. The 3rd session is terrible data, which is why I was trying to stack the other 2 and not include the 3rd.

For what it's worth, here are the screenshots of the 2 images I'm trying to stack

It's best to create a mosaic from separate panels, not 2 mosaics entirely, I'm also not sure that will work correctly. You could try to switch off dynamic distortion correction..
