Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi,

I have stacked this from about 300 dithered images.  I did another image (M42) which came out beautifully.  This one has weirdness all over it! 🙂

Can anyone please advise what this is caused by?  All settings are standard.  Thank you.

@ginger Please check the individual frames to see if any satellites have passed. If that's the case then the pixel rejection in APP didn't work well enough for you.

With 300 dithered frames this should be well rejected, could these be planes as well perhaps in some of the frames? You can try to change the rejection parameters as well a bit.

So weird!  I found 2x frames with mahooosive plane lights right through them, in the exact (but straight) path of the distortion.  Funny thing was, according to APP they were not integrated.  What the hell?  Anyway, I deleted them and its ok now.  Thanks.  How strange!
