Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hi, I have an ASI294MM which I've always used in the standard Bin 2x2 mode but will be shortly be getting a shorter FL scope where I want to utilize both the Bin 1x1 and Bin 2x2 modes for different filters. Does APP handle this if I set my reference frame to one of the Bin 1x1 subs? If so, are there recommended choices for this upscaling/resampling of the Bin 2x2 data?

Thank you very much for your question. Please accept my apologies for my late answer.
APP can handle that very well. Scale differences of a factor of 8x can be handled by APP most of the times. Smaller scale differences then 8x are rarely an issue. APP should automatically select a 1x1 frame as the reference, but after 3) Analyse Stars, it will be good to double check the chosen reference frame and possible change that yourself at the top of 4) REGISTER with the set reference button.
Where you already able to test how it work with the new 1x1 data?
