Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

APP 2.0.0-beta34 will add fully tested support for the following models: EOS M2, EOS R6 MARK II, EOS R8, EOS R50
Unfortunately, the software cannot convert or recognize the Canon *.cr3 format. Camera Canon EOS R6 Mk III
The file is perfectly readable with Canon software.
Which setting might be incorrect, or are these files simply not directly processable by the Astropixel processor? If so, to which format should the files be converted without loss of quality?

@gre Ulrich, I am not sure if I understand the problem, but when I open the latest APP version, then under supported files also *.cr3 formats. are listed in APP.

Thank you very much for posting your issue.
Your model is not in our tested list, so we need to test it still : Canon EOS R6 Mk III. Apparantly our Raw converter (LibRaw) does not support this new model yet as well, otherwise it would have worked.
Solution: You can convert your CR3s without data loss with the latest DNG converter : https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/digital-negative.html#downloads
Then load the DNGs into APP, that usually works 😉
Can you upload a couple of CR3s to our server so we can test it and add support for it going forward?

Hi Ulrich,
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will have support for the Canon EOS R6 MARK III. I have just finished testing it and it works 😉
beta47 will be released in probably a weeks time from now.
