Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
APP has been working perfectly for me for years (William Optics, Skywatcher, DSLR, etc). Recently I purchased a Seestar S50 and have been successful stacking FITS files with no additional calibration frames. Today using a set of new files the output image quality degraded substantially after stacking. I downloaded the latest version of APP and re-stacked one of the files that I had success with earlier. Same result. Also tried to duplicate my earlier result (same file and earlier APP version)....same result. Any ideas and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. Â

THank you very much for sharing your issue. Can you upload a screenshot or JPG of the degraded result? Without this, it is very hard to understand what the issue is.
One thing that might fix it, is to reset the settings to defaults with the CFG button? Maybe you have some setting somewhere that is not working on your data?
