I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.
Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46. Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.
ive reached the point where I want to integrate but I just have no space available.
I just finished normalisation but I didn’t save normalisation frames.
How can I leave my processing where it is and come back once I’ve cleared space? Or ideally I’d like to move whatever I need that’s ready for integration to another machine that has more space.
Also.
when I did my last stage I saved the registered files so now I have 200mb each fits files for every light. What are these used for? What is the purpose of saving new files at each stage ?
You just take care of the data and then press the "clear space" button. And you shouldn't have to save frames at each stage. These are meant for special cases that you might want to use them before continueing etc. Otherwise you just press "integrate" in tab 6 after setting all settings and it won't save all frames in between.
So have my original lights all been changed already then?
Ive started integrating and my laptop is running out of memory. So I’ve copied my working directory to a disk onto my desktop pc.
How do I resume integration? Do I need to load all the master files again as well? I’m finding it all quite confusing still. I’ve spent three days getting to the integration and I just want to move to another computer and finish integration now

No, your original files aren't touched if you didn't change, delete or move them yourself. APP will go through all processes and then save the integration. It might be a good idea to first go through some of the tutorial video's in the video tutorial section, you can find it on the top of the site or by clicking here.
Unfortunately you can't move that processing to another computer, but if you have saved steps in between (which you did I think), you can load those files in and start with processing further from that step. So let's say you saved all the registered frames, then those are still there and registered, so you load those in and continue.
Yes I have a lot to learn and I’m watching videos just now and have been all night.
This laptop has been on for days though and I’m scared to switch it off. I just don’t want the last days to have been total waste of effort.
I have reg files for every light.
The bit I’m confused about is how do I load these again what bucket do they go into? Are they lights are they something else by this stage ?
i just don’t want to lose the data I’ve taken days to create.
I’ve moved my disk to my other machine and set my working directory.
Ive loaded in all the registered frames into other/processed and I can open them.
It won’t let me click normalise - says no lights available.
I tried to integrate with drizzle it says no Bayer CFA data. And then says no lights nothing to integrate
Thought the registered FITS files were basically everything from the light up to that stage?
Ive watched 20 videos and none of them document anything to do with saving processed frames and loading them again. I’ve searched and searched.
Ok, so you have the fits files with -reg at the end, correct? You just load them in as lights, just like you loaded the normal frames. Make sure to have "recognize masters and integrations" selected, just to be on the safe side. I tested it to be sure and it works here.
I wouldn't start with drizzling and such, first get the basic processing working with the standard settings.

1. It asked about enabling multi session? In this context do I treat them as one session?
2. When I then tried to do the normalise frames step it then started doing star analysis again?

I’ve just bought a brand new pc. An i7 cpu with 16Gb RAM and 500Gb hard drive.
I loaded in the reg files as lights and clicked calibrate and let it do whatever it wanted to do. It did star analysis and normalisation etc.
When it tries to integrate it tells me I don’t have enough space?
Over 700Gb required to do an integration!?
Surely that’s not right? For less than two hundred original lights?

Yes, 700 GB's seems weird. Maybe you could do the test option (2) and see what it reports. The install location is not limited for apps to write to?
