UPDATE FROM MABULA

I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.

Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.

APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46.  Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.

Hello, I have been having this problem for a while now.  I like to use Drizzle (.5 droplet size and 2x scale) when I stack my images.

Since I use a mono camera, I have to make 3 separate stacks and combine them afterwards.

My problem is, if I use drizzle with .5 droplet size and 2x scale as recommended, then go into RGB combine to combine the stacks, no photo shows up when I hit "calculate".

I can make the rgb combine, and then view the combine .fit in a different viewer, but APP can't open the combine .fit either.  Well, it does open it and shows the histogram, but no image is visible.

When I keep the scale at 1x, I can view the image during RGB Combine, but not if I make it any larger.

Is this just a limitation of my machine? (Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM), or is it something in the code?

Thanks for the help.

No, this should work if other programs have no issues. Are you using the latest version 1.075? Would be nice to see for myself as well, if you want you can upload the frames you want to combine to our server, login/password: appuser and create a directory with your name + drizzle problem. I will have a look at it.

You can also try clicking on the GL button on top, to turn OpenGL off and see if that is the issue.
