Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
So, I have been happily using APP with my subs and working directory residing on a external SSD. All of a sudden, I cannot figure out how to access any external drives. I navigate to 'Volumes' thinking that is where the paths would exist, and I get an error telling me that APP cannot write to that location. What am I missing?
Thanks!
So to update.  Dropped back to beta 23 and it found drives just fine.  Re-installed beta 26 and all is back to normal…
Dear Chris @cdugger,
Thank you very much for reporting this. It must have to do with mounting the external drive probably. With beta23 we had the macOS native chooser, right? That should solve the mounting issue I think. Beta26 reverted back to our development platfrom chooser and this can not fix the mounting of such a non-fixed data location I think.
Probably with beta26 re-installed, after a restart, the problem is there again or not?

@mabula-admin Everything seems to be working fine after reinstalling beta 26.
Hi Chris @cdugger,
That is good to know, please let me know if it does occur again though 😉
