May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello....I must be doing something wrong, I have tried several different pathways to try and have the panels register, but at no stage can I get past the Registration step. I have changed the settings in analyze stars several different ways with no success in passing the registration step.

Since this was a test just to make sure my framing was accurate i had limited subs, so I attempted to just load all of the lights and calibration frames, however when it gets to 80% in the registration step its stays there for hours on end.

I hope someone can assist me in getting past this step.

How does a frame look like, could you post a screenshot of that?

@japel Adding to what Vincent wrote: how does the frame, for which the registration fails, compare to a frame, for which the registration succeeds? Just open one first and take a screenshot, then open the other and take another screenshot. It helps if you make sure that the histogram also is in the screenshot.

Hi both, thank you for your replies. It looks like this is a me problem and not an APP problem.

It appears my mosaic frames do not overlap, and when I reshot with the express goal of creating this overlap the frames registered together.

@japel Glad that you found out what the problem was and that you were able to fix it. Yes, an overlap of 5% or preferably 10% is required for APP to create the mosaic.
