Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Getting used to building mosaics. I'm currently doing multiple panels for a project. Can I put together a mosaic with more than the 5 sessions options when loading lights? Or do I have to somehow build it up gradually? At the moment I have 6 sessions and will be adding some more.

Thanks!

You can yes. But I would advice to make the panels separately and then create the mosaic from them.

Ok thanks. Stupid question....how do I do that?   Kinda related to an ongoing issue I have where APP keeps crashing my iMac when doing big integrations. I start again from scratch, but presumably I could just load files that have already been processed and start from there? Never figured this out. If I load calibrated FITs files in the the 'lights' it goes thru thu all the intermediate steps again?

If I've got to the Integration stage and APP crashed, what files do I need to reload, and where, so I can just restart integration?

Thanks for you help!

What I always do is to take 1 panel, integrate that fully and make it nice. Same for the others, then I clean out the loaded files (or I just restart APP) and load in the integrated panels as lights, with those I then choose to create the mosaic.
