Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello,

I have just upgraded my computer that is built specifically for processing data. I have downloaded 2.0.0beta2. I used this on my now (secondary computer) but when I try to install it, it asks me to pick the directory to install it to. I picked C:Program Files and when I hit ok I get an error that it can't be installed. I have attached a screenshot of the error code that I'm getting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Dale

@dalepenkala Hi Dale. Does your user have the right to create a new directory in C:\users\Default? This seems to be a Windows permissions issue.

Hello Wouter

I’m not sure on this, I guess I better look. Problem is I don’t know where to look and how to make the changes. I’ll have to google this.

Thanks!

Dale

Hi Dale,

Perhaps it is easier to install APP in C:\users\<your username> instead?
