Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I have been using AAP for years. Today, I loaded in files and all of the images are green. I have made no changes. Even older images that showed properly are now green. I have checked the bayer pattern on 0) Raw/Fits it is set to 'supported' per ZWO the 2600duo it should be 'RGGB', I have tried every setting. Algorithm set to 'no interpolation' shows it with the right color, but then has a pattern in the end result.

I have rebooted, and reinstalled beta-26. It worked fine 2 days ago, with no issues.

Hi @orangemaze,

Is the data monochrome or One-Shot-Color?

If it is monochrome: make sure you do not have enabled force Bayer/X-Trans cfa in 0) RAW/FITS that will force APP to think it is OSC data.

If it is OSC data: do not use no interpolation algortihm, that will force APP to not debayer the data. The no interpolation algortihm should only be used on OSC sensor's where the Bayer/X-Trans is physically removed from the sensor !

Finally, if it is OSC data, the integration/stack can become colored (green, blue, yellow, magenta) if background neutralization is disbaled in 5) Normalize, so check that as well.

Please note, that these new APP version will remember all your settings per restart. If you are in doubt what the settings do, simply revert to defauilts with the CFG menu 😉
