Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello there,

I am new to using Astro Pixel Processor and have been enjoying the software so far for my deep sky astrophotography. Recently; I have been getting into narrowband imaging using a dual narrowband filter; and I am trying to optimize my workflow to get the best results.

I have come across some challenges in balancing the signal between the two channels. I noticed that my Ha data often appears much stronger than the OIII; leading to an unbalanced final image. Could someone suggest the best practices within APP to equalize the narrowband data during processing?

Should I process each channel separately and then combine them; or is it better to process them together from the start?

Are there any particular settings within the integration step that help optimize the signal balance between Ha and OIII?

Also, I have gone through this post; https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/community/main-forum/processing- aws-devops-star-colors-lrgb-narrow-band/ which definitely helped me out a lot.

After combining the channels, how do I best enhance the weaker OIII signal without introducing noise or losing detail in the Ha?

Thank you in advance for your help and assistance. 😇
