There is a first time for everything, it seems. I have never received this kind of result for a stack. 80 out of 100. APP beta. Iris nebula was the target. I will keep it for the abstract art category of my catalogue. :>)
I will start over but wonder what might have been the primary influence that created this result?
Thanks.
Oeh that is very nice... art wise. 😉 I think you're using dynamic distortion on data that doesn't need it. Could you try switching that off?
Your advice was correct. Not using dynamic distortion on the data was the best solution.
I had three sessions. Each stack came out nicely. But, when all three were added together the result may be seen in the attachment. The center area is quite destroyed. What should I change to avoid this result when producing the 'all sessions' stack?
Thanks.
Mmm, that looks like an artefact, how did you save the tiff (what parameter)? And does it look like that in APP as well, as a fits file?
Thanks for your reply. The fits file for the 3 combined sessions is too large at 210MB. Do you want to see it? How do I do the large file transfer?
I think I see the issue above, but that's the tiff right? How does it look like before you export it as a tiff, what does the image look like in APP?
