Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
For sure many experienced astro photographers already knows, but I'm just informed I can download raw files from hubble science archive and process them for practice. Unfortunately APP does not recognise those *.fits files. Is it possible to fix this?
Thanks.
Can you point me to the exact fits file you're trying to load?

Thanks.
Ok, thanks! Going to have a look tomorrow, I'm quite interested in data like that as well.
Should be interesting and instructive. But as I said APP does not recognise files. This issue needs to be solved.
Hi Volkan @volkanovun,
Thank you Volkan, the Hubble archive images will now load in the next version APP 1.083 😉
The issue was that these FITS files have very extensive metadata with 5 FITS HDUs of which 3 are images. The first image HDU contains the actual data, and APP was assuming that the 3 image HDUs combined could have been actual RGB data which it is not clearly...
