Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hi @Mabula, not used app for a while so a bit rusty, and already I am stuck, my mosaic failed at registration on some of the frames so that might explain the patchy corner on my last attempt (ic405/410 mosaic), app says I need to lower the "detect above noise level" kappa value in menu 3) ANALYSE STARS, I cannot get it lower than 003, maybe something I am not doing?
Something I missed last time when in the integrate tab where it says 100%, I only noticed today it says 46 out of 46, there are 59 frames so 13 are not registered, I am guessing that most are of the frame in that corner.
I assume you are running APP 1.059?
What happens if you run star analysis on the frames that fail? Can you show the console output?
If you want to create a mosaic, it's much better to first make/integrate the mosaic panels individually and then register those as a mosaic. It's more robust and much faster.
