Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I know you guys are working on documentation for the 2.0.0, when might the documentation for the new release be ready? I am happy to review it for you...

The docs will be released with APP 2.0 stable, we're very close to that stage but will take some time to prepare it. I'll forward your request to Mabula.

Any word on stable 2.0.0? What I'd like more than anything is documentation, I hate learning by accident. For example, I was working with JSWT data and quite by accident found details about HSL...  As mentioned earlier I am very happy to help review and comment on documentation.

There have been 29 “beta” releases for 2.0 but still no documentation. It is a fine product but complex enough that it needs a user manual.

I view the “betas” as incremental product releases; while getting timely bug fixes and feature updates is truly appreciated, I want to master APP and not just rely on defaults and superficial knowledge.

Please keep iterating the product but I feel it needs the manual more urgently to allow users, especially newer to the hobby, unlock all the value add that is already there.
