Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi,
For some time now, after stacking, the pictures have looked green in their colors. Flat, bias, darks are integrated. Camera 40Da, also with the 70D. This picture was taken with the 70D. Even without dark, the colors are very different. All pictures taken in the same night.

My question is, why is that? This is not the case with another program, Figure 2.

greetings André

This could be due to the use of filters or some other influence that causes that in the data. APP doesn't change the raw data just like that, so it has to be in there to show up. Did you try color calibration? You can also tweak that calibration slightly to account for the effect some filters have, I can show you if you tried it with some pictures.

Hi,
I've tried a lot, including different types of filters. I changed the camera settings because I thought it was because of it, but to no avail.
I deleted version 1.075 and reinstalled the 1.070. Now it works like the years before and the colors are right.

Now the question is what was wrong there.
Doesn't the program normally start so that the settings are on standard?
greetings André

Yes it does, but these have changed a bit during versions. I would advice to use 1.079 as that also has many bug fixes. If you have the same cast, I can have a look at it if you want to share the data and explain it better.
