May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I discoverd a new issue in beta 43, the calibration.

I get a calibration warning that my masterflat is not good on M51 while i use this same master in M3 on the same nights that i captured M51 and no issues.

Also i test the calibration on my laptop with beta 39 with the M51 data, no issues??? Can you check that out? Or do i need to try to reinstall APP or go back to beta 39 on my pc.

EDIT:  I remove beta 43 from my pc and installed beta 39, no issues with the calibration. No warnings.

i delete beta 39 and reinstal 43 and issue is gone 🤔 🤨

Hi Stefan,

That sounds a bit weird yes. Maybe there was a problem with the installation somehow?

Glad that after clean re-install of beta 43 all is okay.

Please update to 2.0.0-beta44 which I released this morning. It has further configuration for the new internal memory controls that beta43 has and should work now on all systems, fast, stable and continously.
