Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Can someone please help me understand why APP seems to be integrating flipped images from after meridian flip into final image without correcting it. I also appears many of the stars are cancelled out. This image was a taken using a OSC camera and L Ultimate narrowband filter.

This only seemed to start happening with the latest update. Any assistance is appricated.
Thank you.

Hi Adam @adamcohen95,
This looks like an issue on your issue list, I think APP is thinking that hot pixels are stars, you need to increase the cosmic ray/noise reducer area size to at least 10-16 in 3) Analyse stars. I would think 😉 that all will be fine then.
It seems that you are not using any data calibration (dark, flat, darkflat and/or bias, Bad Pixel Mapping)? (I saw in the images in my mailbox) Why not? especially Bad Pixel Mapping will probably prevent this issue already.
We will improve this going forward 😉 for sure, it is on my issue list to address soon.
