@mabula-admin Hello Mabula, I am new to APP. Just paid and downloaded it (1.082) personal licence. I am running it for the first time and following the recommended alternative guide and processing my first images following this. It seems happy with what I am doing as I type. Yes, I know this software is dynamic and changes are always not easy to follow. It is good, at least, some tool tips flash up on the console. Question: Having just purchased this in the UK (+ extra taxes etc.) and £175.00GBP poorer, when this new release is stable (1.083) I won't find myself having to pay to upgrade to it will I??? Otherwise I may well have waited. 🙁 Thank you. Jacques

@jaq1967 Hi Jacques. I split off your post from the user's manual topic since this is a question about the license. I'll ask Mabula to give a reply.

Hi Jacques @jaq1967,

No, for APP 1.083 stable you won't need to pay an upgrade fee 😉

Cheers,

Mabula

@mabula-admin Hi Mabula, Liking it so far. Created my first stack. Minor technical issue with my Dark frames, but redone and got a result! Now, the daunting post-processing to come. I may have picked a very tricky subject by shooting the Pelican Nebula as it seems to have a lot of nebula vs background. Hmmm... Anyway, thanks for update. Looking forward to next release. Any idea when? 😬
