It did take a long time to have the work finished on this and it will have a major performance boost of 30-50% over 2.0.0-beta39 from calibration to integration. We extensively optimized many critical parts of APP. All has been tested to guarantee correct optimizations. Drizzle and image resampling is much faster for instance, those modules have been completely rewritten. Much less memory usage. LNC 2.0 will be released which works much better and faster than LNC in it's current state. And more, all will be added to the release notes in the coming weeks...
Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Really pleased with processing flexibility and control that APP give me!! The Highlight control helped keep the Core of the Nebula under control without harming the detail in the outer dimmer areas of the nebula!!

Applying the ST(retch) slider in combination with the HL slider actually enables you to do protect the highlights and still keeping the fainter signals visible as well. The HL slider can also be used gently to reduce star size ;-).
Yes I was able to get more data. This is 234 30sec subs, now adding the Running Man Nebula.
I did 2 separate integrations of each nights data, then did an integration of the two stacks. Worked beautifully.
It’s getting a bit late in the season to get any more data. But hopefully this fall I’ll Add more to bring out the additional details of the dust and gas surrounding these beautiful Nebula!!
Thanks for the compliment Mabula!! And Yes I did apply star color calibration to this image. I had to go back and look at the file name I created a .tif with and it indeed has -csc- in the file name. I did crop and apply a few adjustments to the stretch before converting it to a .tif.
Is there something you're seeing that leads you to think it wasn't?? Or would the additional stretch have changed the colors enough I should have run it again??

😉 no I wasn't thinking it wasn't applied, just by looking at the initial posted image, the last one is more blue when compared to the first.
Think it looks great ! the outer layers are showing more and there is lots of color from blue to red in the Orion Nebula. The core looks great as well!
