Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
APP (latest 2.00 beta35) uses wrong bayer pattern (pattern = supported), when stacking fits files from my Seestar S30. Switching to pattern GRBG gives the right result. The fits files from Seestar contain
the correct pattern, but APP does not recognize it.

Hi Heiner @djones,
Thank you very much for reporting this. I have opened an issue on our list to investigate this.
I understand that the Seestar telescopes had firm upgrades to now include the CFA pattern, right?
It could be that still some important FITS metadata is missing in the FITS files that the Seestar produces causing this issue, but I will check and will let you know in the coming week 😉

Hi Heiner @djones,
I have checked the provided frames with APP 2.0.0-beta37 and I see that it is now working correctly. When I have the default setting of pattern = supported, APP recognizes that the pattern is GRBG and shows the correct colors in your light frames 😉
Can you confirm this as well?
