Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
I'm evaluating APP as the stacking app for Seestar S50 multiple mosaic integration.
I'm sure I worked out the Seestar configuration. I have successfully stacked a mosaic with a reference frame in session 2.
However I have projects with multiple mosaic where as the reference frame integration ends with the error "APP couldn't register any frame ..." this is confusing as the reference frame has registered always over 1'000 stars. During the integration I see the message "can't register this frame, less than 5 star pairs found.
The stack integrates without reference frame fine however over 50% of the frames are not registered.
What are the factors in play that can be influenced?
Thank you
Reto
Dear Reto @rbvgunten,
Thank you very much for your question and welcome to the Astro Pixel Processor forum !
In menu 4) Register, you probably are only using the normal registration mode? Did you try the mosaic registration mode? The normal mode will only work when all frames overlap with the reference frame. The mosaic registration mode requires that the frames have at least overlap with 1 other frame.
Let me know if this solves it.
