UPDATE FROM MABULA
I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.
Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46. Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.
hello, i have to change my computer and i was wondering, for astropixel processor, if an intel i9 brought a lot compared to an i7?
is the price difference justified?

That's a bit difficult to say, usually the faster the better, but as you say if it's not twice as fast and way more expensive... I would go for the i7. Even better would be to go for AMD at this point as they sell processor with many cores, which also helps a lot as well as a fast SSD (like the M2 SSD's these days).

at the moment in europe, intels are cheaper than amds, suddenly it helps the choice lol
i7 10700k (8/16) 340 € and the i9 10850k (10/20) at 415 €
For the m.2 ssd, I seemed to have seen a post from Mabula which said that there was no difference with a normal ssd?
anyway, I have either a config processor, mobo and 32 gb ram, around 600 € for the i7, or 700 for the i9,
I would have a hard time adding anything else lol

I think that depends, many regular SSD's have a SATA connection (or at least, that's the case in my PC). If that's the case, the interface limits the speed and can be up to 5x slower than a PCIe M2 SSD.

If the i9 is just 100 Euro's difference, I would choose that. Faster and more cores and that does make a difference, while the price difference is ok.
