UPDATE FROM MABULA

I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.

Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.

APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46.  Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.

Hi Mabula

It would appear that your astropixelprocessor.com email addresses are bouncing back, I've tried from multiple domains as well:

I have been trying to reach out to get some data from you for my machine learning project of my masters

Dear Simon @stastro,

We are managing e-mail traffic ourselves with our own mail servers using the latest e-mail protocols with SPF, DKIM adn DMARC checks on outgoing AND incoming mail. If the e-mails bounce back, it likely means that the mail server that you use to send us email is not setup safely/correctly using the latest email protocols.

Which addresses have you used to send us email? What do the bounced emails report in terms of problems?

I did check our email logs and I can see this from you registered email address:

Feb 19 23:08:08 h2887425 postfix/smtpd[8882]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from 143.ip-151-80-235.eu[151.80.235.143]: 504 5.5.2 <vps427074>: Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname; from=<simon@stastrophotography.com> to=<support@astropixelprocessor.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<vps427074>
Feb 19 23:09:11 h2887425 postfix/smtpd[8882]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from 143.ip-151-80-235.eu[151.80.235.143]: 504 5.5.2 <vps427074>: Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname; from=<simon@stastrophotography.com> to=<mabula@astropixelprocessor.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<vps427074>

So your email server that sends on behave of stastrophotography.com is not configured correctly/safely.

I checked the DNS records for 151.80.235.143 in terms of any MX record and the required Reverse Lookup for any mail server. Both are not correct.

mail.stastrophotography.com does not point to 151.80.235.143 in DNS:

stastrophotography DNS issue

and 151.80.235.143 does not point back to mail.stastrophotography.com

stastrophotography ReverseLookup issue

Hi Mabula

I have also tried from my alternative email address which uses googles mail system, and again it bounced back, can you check for (simon at fleximiners dot com), but the question was as follows:

I am currently in the Machine Learning module section of my Masters in Computer Science, and my project is to take data and run it through specific machine learning algorithms, what I wanted to do is take the output of frame analysis and train the algorithm based on an acceptance or rejection of the image frame as part of a stack, I have not found anywhere in APP that allows me to export out the list.  So I was wondering if you had any data exports you could allow me to use as part of my ML project.

With regards to the MX settings, I have checked my DNS records and it is set correctly, there is an MX record pointing to the correct IP, so this is a bit strange and I will look into it

Regards

Simon

SPF protocol check does not pass for sending email with fleximiners.com from a google mail server. If we would allow this, we would get a lot of spam I am afraid so we can not. Some mail servers would accept your email but it will be better if you can fix this on your side of you want to be able to deliver e-mails to any other mail server. More and more servers will start to reject your e-mails if the SPF protocol does not pass.

Hi Simon, there is no export button at the moment no, but please check the following:

Once all data is analysed after 5) Normalize, start an integration while you have the separate Console Window open.

That Console Window will show the statistics before the integration starts. You can easily copy/paste from the console windows to grab the data. I hope this helps for you purpose?
