I am trying to make a 2 panel mosaic.   Panel A was imaged over the course of 2 moonless nights and panel B was done in 1 night with 80% moon.

There is 70% overlap between the 2 panels.

What is the best way to get a final image of those panel despite the different illumination?

I use the latest APP version.

thanks

You should be able to combine those like any other mosaic, 70% overlap for 2 panels would not be a mosaic though (the mosaic algorithm is basically for those cases that the reference frame, used for registering the frames, has no overlap at all with all panels). So it's better to use the regular setup in APP for you in this case. Gradients can be corrected before you register or afterwards when the data is combined, using the LP tool.
