Crescent Nebula, HOO2
With a total integration time of about 6 hours, this bi-color image of the Crescent Nebula is almost okay to me. The HOO-2 combination preset made this image look different from my previous HOO-1 version.
Gears: QHY163m, Antlia 3.5nm narrowband filters, Takahashi TSA120
That's an absolute beauty. With different result, do you mean the preset isn't consistent?
Thank you Vincent to remind me of my post was not clear. I need to put a cause 'HOO-1 preset' which I always use. 🤫
Oh no worries, just curious. 🙂 Like I said, stunning result, the amount of detail in the OIII part is amazing.
@vincent-mod So, how does the HOO2 algorithm differ from HOO1? Or, SHO2 versus SHO2 for that matter?
You can see this in the tool itself, by looking at the settings for the different channels that change when selecting another algorithm.
