Mar 28 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta40 will be released in 7 days.
It did take a long time to have the work finished on this and it will have a major performance boost of 30-50% over 2.0.0-beta39 from calibration to integration. We extensively optimized many critical parts of APP. All has been tested to guarantee correct optimizations. Drizzle and image resampling is much faster for instance, those modules have been completely rewritten. Much less memory usage. LNC 2.0 will be released which works much better and faster than LNC in it's current state. And more, all will be added to the release notes in the coming weeks...
Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I see many posts with no answers from you 2. @mabula-admin doesn't often reply to users problems on the forum, expecially in the last few months he is often absent.
For example i made 4 posts with some requests and/or problems and nobody answered to me.
So i wonder what do you mean with "regular support on the forum"?Â

Well, we always try to keep it regular yes but it's not always possible to do this every day as Mabula is very busy with development and I have to arrange things during this interesting time. If you browse back 5 days, you'll see I've been on the forums almost 7 days a week. Sorry for this gap in activity, service will resume tomorrow when I have scheduled time again and I'll go through all posts I missed.

And some new video from him: he made very interesting tutorial video, clear, comprehensive, but at the same time with important technical explanations..
He was here a lot at that time as well, I think he's preparing a new version at the moment. He'll be here less often, but will definitely come along. Video's need to be updated completely, we're talking about that amongst ourselves as well, that will be taken care of. When, hopefully soon, but it may take a month or 2 depending on several real-life arrangements. 🙂
