Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

registration only “works” once on a data set per license

Hello, I’m brand new to APP (still on trial version) but I’m trying to process a milky way mosaic. When I first loaded in my panels and made it to the registration tab I got a semi decent rms value (0.75) but after trying registration again I cannot get a value under 7 or so, even with the exact same settings. I’ve tried closing and re-opening the app, deleting and re-installing it, multiple versions, cropping the panels by a couple pixels, copying the panels to a different drive, only using half the panels, and countless other methods but can’t get back to any rms value under 7 even with identical settings to those I got the .75 the first time. I eventually tried getting a trial version with a different email and that worked for the first time but then went up to above 7 so it’s definitely something with the license. I tried again with a different set of mosaic panels and it did the same thing with a low rms the first time and then never being able to get back to that number. Is there any fix for this? I’m guessing the program is recognizing I’ve registered those frames before on that license and is messing something up. Any help would be appreciated.

Also another thing I noticed is no mater what I did (closing the app, deleting and reinstalling, using different versions, etc) all my settings, save directory, and all that was saved and wasn’t reset to default. Is there any way to clear the cache from the license or something as I’m thinking in addition to storing all those settings and stuff, it’s storing something that is messing up the registration.
