Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
I've been trying to stack data from two different cameras for over a day now, however, I can't get past registration. Usually, it will only register 95 or 104 out of 189 subs (and all from one camera). I tried mosaic mode as a last resort, but it just takes about 6-7 hours (on a year-old gaming computer) to get about 80% of the way until it fails. It gives me this error message - I have no idea what it means.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
While I was able to build the image by stacking both datasets in DSS, outputting two .tiff files, changing the pixel scale and cropping to match the pixel array, and finally stacking the two tiff files together in DSS, I would still like to know how to fix this error message. The sole reason that I bought APP was in order to be able to stack raw data from two different setups together. So far, the program has been unable to do this for me.
Could you tell me what settings you used in trying to combine the datasets?
