Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
I'm shooting in mono with a ASI1600MM pro and LRGB and SHO filters.

Currently I am working on M51. If I combine the channels, I hardly get any colors. This is the case with almost all the galaxies.
I got the advice to try to adjust this with 'calibrate star colors', but now APP does not detect stars in my area select boxes. Could you please help me out?

@oscar-keet Hi Oscar, in general "calibrate star colors" requires RGB data. If there is any narrow band data in the picture then the process will not work well. Also, the process requires preferably a few hundred stars. Selecting 4 large rectangles that contain all stars in the picture without selecting (parts of) M 51 probably will work best with your picture.
Any idea what caused that fuzzy band at the bottom of your picture? Don't include that in the rectangles please.

Also in the viewer pane, make sure you have selected saturation checkbox and up the saturation a bit, say 23. That will truly show if colour is present.
