Hello, I am trying to process my ZTF comet images and APP is processing very slowly.  Initially I had all my images on a NAS and figured that was the problem so I moved them on to a locally attached USB drive and I'm seeing the same performance. I tried to capture as much as I could on the screenshot attached. Not shown is there is little-to-no drive utilization. Cpu is less than 2% used. APP is making progress just really slowly. I'd like to say this feels like GC, but if that was the case I'd expect higher CPU usage on a single core so that's why I'm posting this under MacOS as it might be something with the OS.

Many thanks for any an all help.

Update, APP has moved on to start integrating the image but it's about the same performance as before.

It's quite possible that it slows down due to the processing taking place on an external device. APP is very I/O intensive, are you able to run it from you internal drive?

The behavior and performance was the same when I did it from my NAS and the USB drive so that's why I figured it was something else. I can't fit all the frames on my main drive but I'll try with less.

Yes, we either recommend an internal SSD to process on or something really fast externally.
