Floating in the "cloudy sea" of the Cepheus Constellation, the Shark (LDN 1235) and Rotten Fish (LDN 1251) Dark nebulae, named after their shapes, showcase immense structures of dust and molecular clouds, spanning many light years across.
These faint, dark nebulae, are the hidden gems in our cosmic neighborhood, revealing themselves only to those who persist in finding the absence of light that surrounds us. Also shown within the Shark Nebula, are blue reflection nebulae, designated vdB 149 & vdB 150 (top and bottom of the shark's head).

Love it! I haven't done much astrophotography in recent few years unfortunately, but I ended up with trying to image these clouds, I really hit the limit with my modded DSLR and setup on them, so I'm always loving clean signals like this. 🙂
@vincent-mod
Thanks, Vincent!
I think it's time you make a comeback 😉
I'd love to! 🙂 Probably have to do some remote imaging at the moment.
Take your time, go out to the country, or near home if possible. Start simple.
But start.
