Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
This is my first DSO capture in a very long while (2 years?), and I am still learning this hobby. Had a lot of teething problems to get this far. The bulk of this was also post processed in APP, again my first time (purchased yesterday), with minor tweaks in PS and Topaz. Image sequenced using NINA and the following hardware: Altair Astro 102ED-R, Altair Astro Hypercam 183C Pro TEC, Planostar 0.8x V2 reducer, Pegasus Focuscube v2, Altair Astro 60mm Guidescope, Altair Astro GPCAM3 290C, Pegasus Powerbox Micro, QHYCCD Polemaster, Skywatcher HEQ5-Pro. Intel i5-8265U. A minor yweak might be needed on the BF, but not sure if I got to the limit of the Planostar 0.8x V2. It was very hard to get this close, so I am not totally fussed about making more tweaks. I am just very happy to have knocked out an image and please with APP and the bulk of the post processing it can give you to get a good 'something' to tweak.
