Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

My attempt at NGC6960 (in HOO) primarily done in APP with a touch of noise reduction in pixinsight and topaz labs. My equipment and integration:

Telescope and camera: old Takahashi doublet refractor FS 78 (focal length 630mm) with ASI 1600 mm mono and ASIAIR

Integration: Approx. 3 Hrs of HA and 1.5 Hrs. of OIII

Image in JPG so quality may suffer.

@apatil

Nice!

Two questions; Is it a mosaic? And what was either the stack-size or sub-exposure length?

Thanks ah. Its not a mosaic and the sub-exposure length is 240 secs with gain 139 and median ADUs around 1050.
