UPDATE FROM MABULA
I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.
Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46. Â Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.
Hey guys, Why am I not seeing any download links for 1.083? I'm on a mac if that matters. I log into my account go to downloads and there's nothing for the newer versions.Â
It hasn't been released yet. It sounds like the beta 3 will be out before Saturday, though. I'd imagine the final non-beta will be not long after. I'm guessing they will want to see if anyone reports obvious bugs for a few weeks before making it a final release.
@bconno On top of what @turtlecat1000 wrote, there is an "APP Downloads & Release Notes" section to the right of all forum pages with a link to the APP Downloads. There you can find the links to all beta releases.
Thanks guys, but I did find the link and downloaded. When I go to the downloads and open the file it says drag to applications folder to install. I did that and all it does is make a new Applications-1 folder inside of the Applications folder, does this folder need to be unzipped first? Ive never had problems installing software on a MAC. Appreciate any advice on what I'm missing
@turtlecat1000 Does this mean I cant use the Beta Version? I'm not able to open the file

I looked here: https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/community/appreleases/downloads/ and didn't see a link to a beta 3. It may be you have found a placeholder?
Do I have to be a Beta tester to open and use Beta versions? If so thats my issue

You don't. Where are you getting your beta3 link? I was looking around and I can't find one. The page for beta is here: https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/community/appreleases/downloads/ and all that's listed is beta 2 and beta 1 plus earlier releases.
@turtlecat1000 Sorry for the confusion, on my part, Its Beta 2 im trying to get to open.

That makes all the difference. Should be no problem with it. I have been running it for a while now. Just re-downloaded it to see. I'm on a M1 MacBook Pro. When I unzip, I get a dmg file. I can then do the normal procedure of opening the dmg and dragging the app to the folder. Of course you'll have to go through the security procedure to allow the Mac to run the app.
I suspect you may have unintentionally downloaded the app for a different operating system.
@turtlecat1000, Thanks but I downloaded the only one that says MAC OS, 3 times. Same thing. You say when you unzip.... what are you doing to unzip? I try right clicking to open and see no option for unzip, I drag to desktop, drop to Application folder (as it states on the download file) all get the same result, They are links that open the applications folder. I'm baffled and frustrated
I just double click on the zip file. The Mac has zip built into the finder. But it should be the same effect. You may have an antivirus software package or similar. Since APP is written in JDK8 currently it is not supported by default any longer and something is probably stripping it out for your protection. It’s on their roadmap to move to JDK11 which should help with that.Â
OMG, Im so sorry guys. I'm gonna go with senior moment here. I was dragging the Application folder icon not the APP icon.Â
@bconno So you managed to install APP 1.083-beta2 now? APP 1.083-beta3 has not been released yet.
