Oh, so the User Interface gets scrambled when you type that character, very interesting. I'll let Mabula know, thanks for reporting!

@jielinyang

Thanks for finding this little quirk. Now I know what happened to me on several occasions, probably a strange symbol from ascii code on the keyboard maybe, or the use of accents on letters (I don't know or didn't check this however).

Thank you ! I think this problem not only cause by Chinese symbol, but also Japanese symbol. Maybe all non-English symbols can cause this. But for "~!@#$%^"  these can type by English input won't affected.

Hi @jielinyang , @vincent-mod, @cwm2col,

Thank you very much for reporting this issue. It must be related to charachter encoding of the input for the deepsky object. I will test this and fix it 😉

Could you test if you see the same behaviour if you type a chinese/japanese character for the object in APP 1.083-beta2 ? The interface problem seems related to a bug that was fixed in beta2. So it will be interesting to see if the problem is not there in beta2 😉

You can download 1.083-beta2 here:

I will report my findings as well.

Thank you for reply Mr. @mabula-admin .
I had already tested in 1.083beta2, and both language symbol did not cause any crashes and can save as filename very well.
Thank you for fix it and update! Hope the official version will release soon.
