Integration error in version 1.061
Hello Mabula, when integrating with Bayer Drizzle is with me an error occurred. During the LNC calculation, the error message came and the process was aborted. Only after several tries the integration went through error-free.
Can you share which Bayer Drizzle settings you used?
integration scale ?
drizzle droplets ?
drizzle kernel ?
Tophat kernel, dropletsize 1.0 and integration scale 1.0
The error that you encounter is in the LNC module, and I think it's very likely that it is triggered by incomplete drizzle due to the small Bayer Drizzle droplet sizes. Does the error also occur if you use droplets of size 2 or larger ?
(I will work soon on a new LNC algorithm and will then solve this issue.)
Yes, Dropletsize 2.0 works.
Thank you, I think I know the issue then, I will test this further 😉 Bayer Drizzle with small dropelts in combiantion with LNC.
Hello Mabula, I did a couple of tests left the droplet size at 1.0. But switched from LN Mad Winsor to Mad Winsor outlier rejection. Everything had worked wonderfully. Even after several attempts, there were no more errors.
Thank you for sharing that extra information. So that indicates that the issue is a combination of Bayer Drizzle, LNC and then LN Mad Winsor clipping. That will help a lot in sorting this out 😉 for the next version..
