Hello,

Is there a way to save a lot of registered FITS files in a batch process as stretched 16 bit TIFF?

I would need that for the comet to make a video out of it.
Saving each FITS file stretched individually is very time-consuming.

Thank you
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

No I don't think that's possible. Maybe there is software that already does a batch conversion? I know PixInsight has this possibility. I'll ask Mabula if that would be a nice feature to add.

Hello,

Yes that would be great if that comes in a next update.

And also that you can stack comets 🙂
I am sure that many users would like that.

Perhaps ImageMagick can be of help in the mean time? It is a great collection of image conversion (and many other) tools that can be executed from the command line. Best of all, it's free.

I also hope that it will be implemented at some point.
It would certainly help a lot and would be a very useful tool!
At the moment I'm taking the little detour via fitswork ...
the batch processor does this clean and reliably.

Greetings and thanks for the great software!
