V1.077

I had some success with following work flow and producing a final image. I then tried a second target, evrything flows well until the end when I try to use the tools. If I try to Calibrate Background or Remove Light Pollution it results in a white image. I've tried GL4 and OpenGL and get the same result. Not sure where I'm going wrong. Anyone have any idea? Thanks

If I may ask. How are you doing this. Are you starting in a corner first or doing the whole image at once?

I have the same problem also with the star color calibration tool. It works fine in 1.075.

Hi,

I may be wrong but looking at your second screen shot I see that you have the ST slider (on the right hand side) set at almost to zero.   I think you will start to see your image if you put this back to 0.00034 as per the previous screen-shot.

Flipping the DPP check-box off-on will achieve the same effect I think.

Did you try Mike's suggestion? It looks like either the histogram has an issue suddenly or you manually stretched it differently?

I'm having the same issue right now. It looks like the (B) and (ST) slider always resets itself to 0.000. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hi,

I've never experienced this problem and I have used APP a good deal in the last 18months or so: whenever I have invoked any of the tools options the image has aways opened in the tool workspace with the same B, W, ST settings as those of the image in the main viewer,  and ditto on return with the adjusted image.

I assume that if you adjust the B seeting the image does become visible and that the tool then works fine?  If this is so then you can at least proceed with your adjustments, but I appreciate the annoyance.

It seems to me that if this problem happens regularly / always then probably there is an issue with your data and/or your hardware / software environment which will need to be investigated.

@mestutters

I haven't had this issue in the past year that I've used it either, until processing my M51 data, but yes, I was able to successfully process my image of M51 after readjusting B, W, and ST sliders.

It was pretty annoying to always adjust the sliders back, after waiting for it to load in the viewer.

It would be nice to find out the root cause of why it does that...
