Note that the Bayer "filters", red, green and blue are leaky. If you look at the Sony spec sheet or, for example the QHY specifications of the color cameras you can see that each filter admits some light from the other filters. With very careful reductions it is possible to subtract the cross-talk, but only to a first order.
