On trying to integrate my result is nothing but a bluegreen mess. I also get the attached error. I have tried a couple different times and I get the same result.
My subs all look okay. I did have to run them through XnConvert to bring them from the native .dng to tif files. Camera is a Pentax K3, subs are 60x 180s, 30 bias, 10 flat, 25 darks. I went ahead and bought the owners license because on heavy star fields DSS fails, and PI duplicates your files over and over again, plus I wanted the background neutralization that APP has.
Hi @imnewhere,
I do see at least 1 sub in the list having some failure during integration. In these cases it's always best to share the data so I can take a closer look. If you want you can upload like 10 lights, 10 bias, 10 darks, 10 flats to the appserver: appserver and log-in with username and password: appuser
Please create a folder with your name on it first. Thank you!
I don't think converting to tif is a solution. I tried it and the colours are flat. But I believe the main problem is that the tif has been colour converted by the raw-to-colour process, so the tif is not a true raw file that can be properly calibrated. (unless you can convert to tif without colour conversion.)
Yes, conversions are never advised (which is why dng support is so important for these cases) as they depend completely on the converter, many times converters change the data which isn't what you want. But, let's see the subs first and see if there's indeed a problem with the tifs.
