I ve stacked the individual panels but when I try to stitch the panels to make the mosaic I just cannot get a decent looking image at the end of it. 6 panels in total, I've forgotten how many integrations I've tried but all ends with the same result, have even tried stitching just 2 panels. Theres definately something I've done or left out as Ive done 2 mosaics before but this time I've hit a brick wall.
I tend to add all lights for everything (RGB etc) and assign to each channel and for all panes. Then add cal frames. Then make sure you choose the Mosiac option in 4. Registration Mode. Works fine but Ialso get the odd time it all goes mad...normally when I have ticked something wrong 😀
I know it works because I done this, been a while though.

Look like there was no calibration done on the background at all. Did you use flats, LNC during integration etc.?
yes flats used and am sure I used Lnc, I will re-run with and without.
It will also help if you correct the different stacks before making the mosaic. So using Light Pollution correction etc. If you used flats, it might also be that they didn't work correctly?
I know its not the lights as I've re-run the process on my 4 panel IC1396 mosaic again and thats stitched perfectly, perhaps I need look at the individual subs?
Mmmm, maybe, the mosaic panels though look like something went wrong with correcting them individually. I might have to take a look at some frames of all panels (like 5 each) if you want..
Am away now for a few weeks but I did calibrate and stack the 2 panels sunday morning in Pixinsight and stitched them using App, they blended very well, so could there have been something wrong during calibration in App
? or perhaps the settings?
Maybe, but also here the frames aren't very well corrected in the background. I still think removing light pollution first from the various stacks might help here.
