I went through the tutorial Complete LRGB Tutorial with the sample data.  All went fine but in the end, before I could save a TIFF the program seemed to lock up and I exited.  I restarted the program and loaded the final file combine-RGB-image-mod.fits but all I see is a monochrome image. I had expected to see the color image as I saw it before I exited the program.

I'm very new to the program and have a lot to learn.  Can anyone tell me how to get back to the point where I see the color image as displayed at the end of the tutorial?

Thanks

What do you see when you switch on saturation on the right? And locking up is also not normal, did you maybe miss a window that was in the background?

Thank you for your reply.  Saturation was not switched on and when I did as you suggest color returned.  Also I believe that you are correct there was no lockup.  When I went to save as a TIFF the file name dialog was behind the main window.  Bringing it forward and proceeding all worked perfectly.

Perfect, normally it shouldn't hide itself so that may be something to look at for us. Regarding the colors, this means there was color, just not very intense. Color signal is always pretty weak (depending on the target).

Again thanks.  As I said I'm new.  Since this topic is resolved completely for me is there a way to be a good citizen and close the topics so that others don't spend time with replies?

Thanks

There is no lock no, but usually people read the topics and see it's resolved, so no issue there. We like it to remain open when others run into the same issue.
