Hi,

since some long ago update the bell that sounds after completion can be turned off but is on again after every start of the program. It is sometimes very disturbing for me and others when I forget it. Is there a way turn it of so that it stays turned off?

Hi Peter,

you can turn off the bell by unticking the box in the cfg menu in the upper left corner.

Stefan

Stefan,

I gave that a try and it gets turned back on again when you restart APP. Peter is asking how to make sure that it stays off. I guess this one goes on top of the requests made by many other users for APP to remember configuration settings in between stops and restarts of APP. Let's hope @mabula-admin finally can spend time on enabling this soon.

Hi Stefan,

thank you for the tipp....but  I know that box and unticking helps only for that session. Next time I open APP the box is ticked again and so if I forget to untick again ....GOOOONG!!! 🙄

Obviously the configuration is not saved as a preset for the next start. This was different in earlier versions of APP - once unticked it stayed unticked.

Greetings and all the best,

Peter
