15th Feb 2024: Astro Pixel Processor 2.0.0-beta29 released - macOS native File Chooser, macOS CMD-Q fixed, read-only Fits on network fixed and other bug fixes
7th December 2023: added payment option Alipay to purchase Astro Pixel Processor from China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and other countries where Alipay is used.
So finally I've got my dedicated cooled OSC camera (Omegon 533) and I can handle noise a lot better. So it is time to drizzle for better outcome. And it works! I think I would easily manage the extra noise.
For my Ha filter capture I've used : Algorithm Ha, Force Bayer/X-Trans CFA checked, topHatKernel, droplet 0.5, Bayer/X-Trans drizzle, scale 2 = Success
For my Triband filter capture, I've used: Algorithm Ha-Oiii Color, Force Bayer/X-Trans CFA checked, topHatKernel, droplet 0.5, Bayer/X-Trans drizzle, scale 2 = Success
Then as usual I've tried to extract Ha and Oiii into two separate Fits.
So I've used Algorithm Ha-Oiii extract Ha, Force Bayer/X-Trans CFA checked, topHatKernel, droplet 0.5, Bayer/X-Trans drizzle, scale 2 = Fail
I've tried to change from Bayer/X-Trans drizzle to drizzle, and a message appears:
What I am missing?
I have the same problem with my ASI533mc and an L-enhance filter. I guess the bayer drizzle of Ha/OIII extraction is not integrated yet. But I found it in the feature presentation for the next upcoming beta, so we need to wait only a few more days/weeks until this should be possible.
I was using the latest stable version and I was hoping that 1.083 will resolve this...but no 😔
There is an issue with this that is fixed in beta 2, Mabula is working very hard on finishing that. It took a long time this time for which we do apologize, but this is because the update is a complex one this time around.
