Using the Ha-Oiii color algrithms during debayers I split the channels for Ha, Oiii and Mono.  The image that I am currently trying to work on is a 4 panel mosaic of NGC 7000 and the combine tool doesn't seem to be working like it did once before.  The image is washed out has almost no contrast.  Attached is a snip of the combined image.

In contrast here is an image that combined and balanced fine using the same method.

Hi,

I observe that in second screen shot you have the Saturation check-box set but not in the first.  Is it as simple as that?

Checking saturation didn't have much affect on the image that is washed out.  Thank you for the reply though!

Really strange effect there, the background shouldn't be green either. Maybe a setting that is different in the Combine RGB tool itself? Are they exactly the same?
