Running MACOS Catalina 10.15.6 I normally have my screen turn off after 5 min. While running an a full process in APP, it appears that when the screen shut off, APP paused. I came back to check after 3hrs. and APP was still on analyze stars, started up once the screen was back. The computer does not sleep automatically whe the display is off. Is this normal? Is it necessary to keep the screen on? Currently running the demo of APP.

I did notice this in the past as well, not quite sure why and I think Mabula also hasn’t found out either. We are in the process of migrating to Java 11, so if this is an issue with Java itself it might be solved then (not sure though). When I had that issue I indeed didn’t let the computer go to screensave mode, I just turned off the monitor. 😉
Yes, that's quite annoying.
The easiest fix is to install Caffeine https://caffeine.en.softonic.com/mac and turn it on when you launch your integration
