Hi Mabula,

I'm sorry to say that de installation did not succeed. Your mail from yesterday evening was indeed at the Spam folder. After I started up the installation, I put excactly the details in the licenseframe. After that he says that the licensecode could not be verified. After that I deleted the APPlicense as asked and tried again, but he still keeps saying that he could not verify the licensecode.

Hi Hans, are you behind a VPN (virtual private network) or are you using a virtual machine to start APP by any chance?

If so, disable the VPN when you try to start APP, or run APP not from a virtual machine.

I don't have a VPN or VM. But I've got internet by satellite, but guess that's not the problem.

I received a mail at 16:47 that says: a TRIAL license has been granted already to
someone with your name and/or e-mail address and/or this computer, so this TRIAL request can't be granted now.

Okay, internet by satellite, (that's a first for me). The error that my server gives is an error on the mac address. This afternoon around 1500 hours the activation succeeded and my server recorded your mac address. Does your satellite internet connection works with software that creates artificial network interfaces/addresses possibly?

That the satellite connection works with that software could be possible. On the site of the (satellite) provider they are talking about various networks.

For private I use the satellite connection. But for the guests on our camp-site ( we own a camping in France) we use an ADSL connection. Could that be an solution to try?

Hi Hans, yes, please try the ADSL connection. Chances are big that it will work without problems. Would it be very inconvenient for you to use the ADSL connection?

According to my records, a Trial license was created for you on 19-7-2017 at 9:42 AM Central European Time. You should have received an e-mail with your license details around that time. Did you check your spam folder, if you have any?

I'll send you your details again by e-mail.

i have registered yesterday (as well as creating an account) for a trial license

however i did not receive any mail, and nothing in the spam box. My mail is on a private server.

Hi Joël,

According to my mail-server this last e-mail was delivered successfully as well. Can't you check the logs of your own mail server to check if it receives it and what happens?

Due to spam problems with mostly google and hotmail mailboxes, the mails are all sent out using the mail servers of google which should be very reliable. I guess your log files might tell you why you don't see the emails in your inbox.

It's no problem if you want to create a new account and have a new license using your gmail box, just let me know 😉

Hi Joël,

Apparently Gmail was trying to send to your server, but it did fail, I just received this message from the gmail server:

DNS Error: 3620784 DNS type 'mx' lookup of gwondana.net responded with code SERVFAIL

This could point you in the direction why it fails.

Ok i got it. My dns is down due to issue with my adsl box. Thats the problem . Since i will need a week or so to get the new box i think i will create  a new account and trial license with my gmail

No problem, I have gone ahead and removed the old trial license order from my system. I haven't removed your account yet from the website though.

Please logout, and then order a new trial license while registering with your gmail account. Once done, I'll process your order and will remove this old account from the website as well. You forum messages will be transferred to your new account.

Will test your processor on 4hours of data on the crescent nebula but taken with an unmodded nikon...i don't expect a fantastic result on this Ha object due to the filter and the thermal noise..but who knows!
